Genki Lesson 3 Quiz (4) Answer

Here are the answers of the quiz😊

Translate the following into Japanese.

Rules for Using Particles

  1. は [wa] – Marks the topic of the sentence.(There should only be one “は [wa]” in a sentence.)

  2. の [no] – Connects two nouns so that the first noun qualifies or describes the second noun.

  3. を [o] – Marks the direct object of a verb.

  4. で [de] – Indicates the place where the action takes place.

  5. に [ni] - Marks the goal of the movement (=destination). へ [e] — Can be used in place of に [ni] to indicate the destination or direction of movement.

⚠️Here, “movement” means going from one place to another.Examples of movement verbs: 行(い)きます (go), 来(き)ます (come), 帰(かえ)ります (go back). These are movement verbs, not general “action” verbs.
